The Best In Career And Technical Education To Be Honored
February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) month–a perfect time to recognize CTE educators and students for their hard work and dedication. The CTE month-long celebration will be kicked off with the Fourth Annual CTE Recognition Dinner to take place this Tuesday, February 2 at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. The event begins with a reception at 4:30 PM and the awards ceremony taking place at 6:15 PM. Outstanding teachers, administrators, and business partners will be recognized for their unwavering support of Career and Technical Education.
Santaluces High School’s jazz ensemble will play during the reception and dinner. Co-hosting the event will be Anchorman Jay Cashmere from Channel 5 and Frank Licari from The Jove Improvisation Troupe.
At the February 17 School Board meeting, a ‘CTE Student of the Year’ will be recognized from each high school. The students will be honored with an award acknowledging their commitment and enthusiasm in their career education program or academy.
