Crosspointe Elementary School Cares: Haiti Relief Projects Involved Faculty, Staff, Students And Their Families
Since the earthquake in Haiti, Crosspointe’s faculty, staff, and students have made a concerted effort to help the people of Haiti. Weekly, Crosspointe’s Guidance Counselors have filled their vans with donations of food, water, clothes, sanitary and medical supplies and delivered them to designated drop-off sites. Staff members and students, along with their families, have given monetary donations in the amount of $570.00. In addition, the Safety Patrols have collected over $240.00 in change for the Haitian Relief Efforts.
Crosspointe has welcomed many students who are earthquake survivors from Haiti. Their transition has been easier due not only to the efforts of Crosspointe’s teachers and staff, but also in large part to our parents and business leaders who have generously contributed school uniforms and school supplies.
