Santaluces High Performers Kick Up Their Heels in A Chorus Line
Santaluces High School is proud to present the musical A Chorus Line Thursday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. and; SundayMarch 7 at 3 p.m. in its Performing Arts Center off of Lawrence Road in Lantana. Tickets are $10 for adults or $5 for students and can be purchased at the door or at www.seatyourself.biz/santaluces.
A perfect show for the singers, actors and dancers that make up Santaluces’ Acting Chiefs, the show centers around 19 performers vying for a part in a Broadway musical. Opening in 1976 and winning nine Tony awards as well as The Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the original Chorus Line ran for 6,137 performances and remains the longest running Broadway musical to originate in The United States. Famous songs include “One”, “At the Ballet”, “Nothing” and “What I Did For Love”.
