Plants Are Yielding A Profit For Jupiter High School’s Agriscience Program
Fall is in the air and on Saturday, October 8th from 8:00 AM to 12 Noon, students in the Jupiter High School Agriscience Program will be holding a fall plant sale. Over 100 varieties of plants will be on sale including many native plants such as Red Maple and Cocoplum.
Proceeds from the plant sale go to fund student trips to competitions, leadership conferences, and help purchase supplies. According to Agriscience teacher Derrick Crum, “The students love it when the community supports their hard work and efforts by buying their beautiful plants.” Second year agriscience students will also compete in a plant display contest which the public is invited to vote on.
