Limestone Creek Elementary Literacy Night Gets Families Reading

Limestone Creek Elementary hosted a Book Fair Literacy Event recently at Books-A-Million in Jupiter. The Literacy Stars of the evening were fourth and fifth graders reading aloud to Limestone Creek families and Books-A-Million patrons.

“It was wonderful to hear the student readers read to the other students, parents, and guests. In addition to reading easy books, some read a chapter from books they were interested in. This sparked the interest of the older students in the audience which was the purpose of the event, to encourage the love of reading,” said Limestone Creek Elementary Principal Sue Gibbs.
The School District’s goal is to prepare all students for academic success and we appreciate and encourage community partnerships such as this to reach that goal.
