Palm Beach County Council of PTA/PTSA Invites Community to Families for Fitness and Fun
The County Council of PTA/PTSA is urging everyone to come out for a day of celebrating family, fun, and fitness. This collaboration of Palm Beach County PTAs is focused on raising awareness of the childhood obesity crisis. Families for Fitness and Fun - set for Sunday March 11, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.– will be held at Eagles Landing Middle School in Boca Raton. The event will include: Family Boot Camp, Family Martial Arts, Family Obstacle Course, and Family Movement with Music. Health and wellness grants will be available to participating PTAs. The District’s School Food Service Department and K-12 Pysical Education and Health Program Planner Eric Stern are also collaborating with this event.
