Gove Elementary to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony

Gove Elementary invites all students, teachers, staff and community members to the groundbreaking ceremony for their new campus, which is expected to be completed in May 2013. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Gove Elementary – 900 S.E. Avenue G, Belle Glade, FL 33430.

The school will be LEED certified, the classrooms will be the typical District prototype, with all the upgraded audio enhancement and technology. Green features include, but not limited to occupancy sensors for lighting and A/C control for energy efficiency, water saving fixtures for water efficiency, windows with light shelves to maximize natural lighting, no wax flooring made from recycled materials.
