The Santaluces High Acting Chiefs Present Two Shows at Two Professional Theatres
Theatre fans are invited to attend two final shows of the season performed by tenth through twelfth grade theatre students from Santaluces High School. Under the guidance of Director Louis Tyrell and Musical Director Matt Farmer, 15 students will perform self-written monologues that reflect a spectrum of issues in one powerful evening of theatre, Wednesday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. Pieces of Me will be performed as part of the A Stage It! Education Outreach Program of The Theatre at Arts Garage in Delray Beach. Admission is free.
The Acting Chiefs Annual Spotlight Musical Theatre will be held at the Helen K. Persson Hall at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Lift Up Your Voice -A Musical Theatre Study of Oppression- is scheduled for Thursday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. Co-directed by Broadway performers Jason and Jackie Bayne Gilman and funded by a grant from The Broadway League, tickets for the performance are only $5.
