A Conversation With the Education Commissioner at Boca Raton High
Those with concerns or questions about public education issues are urged to attend an event scheduled to give the public a chance to have their voices heard. The event featuring Florida Education Commissioner Gerard Robinson, takes place Friday, May 25, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Boca Raton High School. Other education notables on the itinerary include State Board of Education member Barbara Feingold, a representative from the superintendent’s office, and Boca Raton High School Principal Dr. Geoff McKee. County PTA President Jen Martinez said A Conversation with the Education Commissioner is a great opportunity for face-to-face interaction with education leaders. “So often parents and other community members want a better understanding of key issues such as FCAT requirements or the district’s accreditation and this is their chance to meet with the people who can give them the facts,” she stated.
