Eagles Landing Principal Selected as Principal of the Year

Cindy Chiapetta, Principal at Eagles Landing Middle School was recently selected as the Florida Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Secondary Principal of the Year. She was a science teacher and an assistant principal before taking the leadership role at Eagles Landing in the summer of 2011. The recognition took place at the PTA Leadership Conference in Palm Harbor, FL. 

Mrs. Chiapetta understands the needs of her students and the importance of parental involvement in her school. She promotes a collaborative environment in which the parents and families are invited and encouraged to be involved. 

As the principal of a middle school with over 1,300 students she recognizes the vital role that parents/guardians and family play in the education, welfare and values of the students, and that the education of each student is a responsibility shared by the school and the student’s parents/guardians and family members.
