Benoist Farms Elementary Hosts Clothing Drive for Families

Benoist Farms Elementary families are being invited  to the media center to pick out items from the clothing drive on August 31, 2012 from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Lauren Rogers, Parent Liaison at Benoist Farms, came up with the idea of a clothing drive when she had extra clothes to donate and didn’t know who to donate them to.  

With the help of Benoist Farms staff, students, and members of the community, the donations began rolling in.  Accessories, shoes, socks, bed sheets and clothing of all sizes were being dropped off at local business partnerships as well as at the school. 

“Our students are so fortunate through our business partners to be given supplies and garments to assist where needed.  This is a way for the students to give back to the community by saying thank you for all you do.”  Dr.  Ruthann Miller, Principal. 

Benoist Farms is extremely grateful for the generosity and outreach from our community and students to help others.  A little difference can go a long way with a big heart and a positive attitude.
