Palm Beach County Council of PTA/PTSA, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Target’s National Night Out Program host SAFETY FAIR
The informative, and free Safety Day family event is being held for the second year Saturday, September 8, from 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. at Hidden Oaks Elementary School. Hosted by the Palm Beach County Council of PTA/PTSA, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Target’s National Night Out Program, the event is intended to promote crime prevention, child safety, youth programs, and community awareness.
Families are invited to come and see the Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit, and the Aviation, and Mounted Units. McGruff the Crime Dog will be on hand along with the Florida highway Patrol and Palm Beach County’s Fire Rescue Department. Drowning Prevention of Palm Beach County, Safe Kids, the Solid Waste Authority, and the American Red Cross will also be participating to offer tips and strategies to help families live safer lives Lots of free entertainment including games, face painting, and bounce houses is planned. The community is encouraged to come enjoy the food, drinks and fun.
