Coca Cola Employees Donate School Supplies To U.B. Kinsey /Palmview Elementary School of the Arts
Representing the employees of Coca Cola in Riviera Beach, Anthony Yanucci and James Knowles recently collected school supplies to donate to U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School of the Arts. Adrienne Howard, Principal and Aleida Trinidad, Guidance Counselor, accepted the generous donations. The Coca Cola employees also purchased and delivered a new refrigerator for the Pre-Kindergarten class.
U.B. Kinsey/Palmview is one of the oldest elementary school campuses in Palm Beach County, opening in 1929. The school is a Title I school with very limited funding. Eighty percent of the students are on free/reduced lunch. Therefore, they would not be able to enjoy many opportunities that exist in our community without assistance from community partners.
Thanks to the generous donations of the Coca Cola employees many students will be equipped with the necessary supplies for the school year. Adrienne Howard is quoted as saying, “It is so gratifying to have community supporters who understand and appreciate the value of education and the arts, and are willing to lend a helping hand to our school.”
