Cypress Trails Elementary Jumpstart’s Read for the Record
Cypress Trails Elementary School’s Kindergarten and 1st grade classes recently participated in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record.
Students from Mrs. Breuninger’s kindergarten class enjoyed the featured selection Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad by David Soman and Jacky Davis read by guest speaker, Mrs. Marcia Andrews, School Board Member. Cypress Trails Elementary was proud to participate in this campaign which celebrates literacy and brings attention to the importance of an early education.

The School District of Palm Beach County provides a curriculum that exposes students to a variety of writing models and methodologies. Students learn to be independent writers, develop an understanding of multiple aspects and gain reading fluency and stamina.
