Hope-Centennial Elementary Receives 2012 Music Education Grant

The Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches has awarded Hope-Centennial Elementary School the “Music Education and Advancement Grant Award.”  The grant totaling $2,463 will be used to purchase instruments and music.  

Hope-Centennial Music Teacher Kevin Smith exclaims, “We are extremely thankful to the Symphonic Band for supporting music in our schools.”  Each year The Symphonic Band awards music grants to local area schools. Music scholarship grants are also awarded to students that play with the band to help them attend college or prestigious summer band camps throughout the country. 

Hope-Centennial Elementary School is under the leadership of Principal Dr. Julie Hopkins.
