Community Organization Helping In Big Way At Lincoln Elementary

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Palm Beach and Martin Counties is helping the students at Lincoln Elementary in a big way.  Under the leadership of William Bee, Big Brothers Big Sisters is donating resources that provide a brighter future for the students at the Riviera Beach school. Principal Tracy Sims says, “Big Brothers Big Sisters along with the support of Publix, Dollar General, Downtown Gardens, Macy and their patronage have provided our children many needed items, ranging from mentoring, gift cards, supplies, basic needs, turkeys, Christmas trees, etc so that our families and our students can reap the benefits. 

For the past two years Big Brothers Big Sisters has made significant contributions to the Title 1 School.  “We are very fortunate to be adopted by such a wonderful organization,” said Dr. Sims.   “BBBS provides supplies and services to over 50 schools in Palm Beach and Martin County.  We are the proud recipient of a portion of over $116,000.00 worth of school supplies that were donated by BBBS and Publix to schools for children in need.”
